LEW'S STOMP/WOMP RULES

Chassis mod rules - There are none, No modification of the chassis allowed.

Chassis bracing - single v brace made from 0.047" wire

only. Each leg of wire to be 1.3" long, brace ends are to

start at front edge of the chassis (as shown) and be fully

soldered along the length. Will be tech'd if present. Any

lead placed at the front may not overlap the bracing wire.

Front wheels are to be solidly connected to the front axle. The Axle is to be free to rotate in axle

holes in chassis uprights. Independent rotating front wheels are not allowed. All four wheels

must be attached to the vehicle during the entire race. If a wheel falls off, the driver must repair

the wheel/tire before they may continue.

Motor may be soldered or screwed in.

Body: Mid America willys legend coupe. Body is to be 0.015" thick.

Body is to be painted so that the chassis can not be seen through when viewed above. Body is

to be retained by body clips. Tape may be added to hold the body to the chassis or reinforce the

mounting points. Wheels are to align with openings in the body. Guide flag may extend past the

front of the body as necessary for body mounting only. Lead wires are not to hang below the

body.

The original body at the start of the race must be present on the car at the end of the race. Tape

may be used to repair or attach bodies parts back to the car but the body must finish the race

with all parts that the race began with.

The driver may change braid during the race under either green or lane change conditions.

Repairs to the vehicle may be made under green or lane change conditions to return the vehicle

to operating condition. The driver may change rear tires during the race under green conditions

only. Any change of tires made during lane changes will result in a 100 lap reduction penalty.

All other items as observed to be outside of the written or implied rules posted are at the

discretion of the tech inspector and can be deemed illegal at that time.

Car owner/driver will have until the end of tech to correct the issue or forfeit entry.

Chassis: Mid America brass stomp chassis, PARMA Brass Womp Chassis of similar shape.

Axles: 1/8 solid steel front and rear, H&R recommended for correct sizing. Front axle to be

mounted in rear most front axle hole.

Front wheels : o-ring front wheels(1/32 womp wheels classic, 1/32 womp wheels thin 5 holes),

mid America #'s

Rear wheels/tires: any black natural rubber tire, 13/16 minimum diameter tire Recommended.

Tire width to not exceed 0.800'

Guide flag: parma full thickness flag with brass guide nut

Bushings: bronze bushing in Rear axle location only. No bushings allowed for front axle.

Bushing holes in the chassis are not allowed to be modified. Bushing may be soldered or glued

into the chassis

Lead Wires: yes, must be present. No wireless power technology allowed.

Axle spacers: brass axle spacers to be used front and rear. Track width, axle width for front and

rear is 3", Wheel base is to be 3 ½" +/- 0*

Motor: mid America stomp motor

Gearing: pinion 9 tooth 48 pitch, crown gear 28-30 tooth 48 pitch.

Chassis Clearance : 0.062" clearance from chassis to tech block with vehicle supported by

wheels on the tech block. Clearance is measured from wheel to wheel at rear and front. Chassis

must have the 0.062" from front to back, no part of vehicle may hang below the chassis bottom

but the gear. 0.032" clearance under gear to tech block.
