It’s Not Legal

All classes will be run on the Hurricane. One car per driver one driver per car.

All cars must pass tech. Roof height must be at least 1.5” at center of roof,

Rear bumper must be at least ¼”, body to be mounted level (no wedging)

with a front bumper, fitting to the body style. ALL Bodies must be .010” thick,

painted with clear windows  and clear or cutout front wheel opening. Must use body clips.

Track clearance tech will be .047” under rear of chassis from tire to tire including gear.

Tire width, cars may not exceed 3 ¼” width. All classes may use any non-weighted guide flag and nut.

Motors, motor bushing, lead wire, lead wire holder, front axle, front wheel keepers,

axle bushings, and rear chassis brace may be soldered in.

Novice B racers MUST be signed up to race before  7:30.

All others MUST be signed up before tech is called for their class. DON’T BE LATE

Novice B tech starts at 7:30, all others will tech when the race before their race ends.

Novice A and B will run on normal power, 8 lanes European rotation

Novice B

5 to 10 years old

Chassis:       4” Parma flexi 1, flexi 5, champion turboflex or JK Cheetah 21 only.

                     you may NOT interchange parts, Cut, grind or bend chassis from original shape.

Bodies:        JK, Dodge JKB36B, Toyota JKB37B, Chevy JKB38B, or Ford JKB39B, painted or clear

                    (you can paint your own)           

Tires:           Front Wheels: Parma, JK or Protrack metal single o-ring ½” or 5/8” diameter only

                     Rear:  any black foam or rubber

Axles:          front axle 1/16”, rear axle 1/8” both must be solid steel

Gears:         9 tooth brass pinion and any Parma or JK plastic 48 pitch spur gear only

Motor:        Proslot 2002 sealed 16D motor may change springs and brushes

                                       NO OTHER MODIFICATIONS

Controller:  Resistor controllers only no electronic controllers May have brake control

Novice A

11 years and older

no age limit must be a beginner

Chassis:       4” Parma flexi 1, flexi 5, champion turboflex or JK Cheetah 21 only.

                     you may NOT interchange parts, Cut, grind or bend chassis from original shape.

Bodies:        JK, Dodge JKB36B, Toyota JKB37B, Chevy JKB38B, or Ford JKB39B, painted or clear

                    (you can paint your own)           

Tires:           Front Wheels: Parma, JK or Protrack single o-ring ½” or 5/8” diameter only

                    Rear:  any black foam or rubber

Axles:          front axle 1/16” , rear axle 1/8” both must be solid steel

Runs on high power, All 8 lanes, European rotation

You must get over /about 140 laps four times in Novice A to move up to Nascar B

Chassis:       4” Parma flexi 1, flexi 5, champion turboflex or JK Cheetah 21 only.

                     you may NOT interchange parts, Cut, grind or bend chassis from original shape.

Bodies:        JK, Dodge JKB36B, Toyota JKB37B, Chevy JKB38B, or Ford JKB39B, painted or clear

                    (you can paint your own) must use body clips

                     All cars are to have three sticker or painted numbers ½” tall min.

                     one on the roof and one on each side door

                     Proper and responsible hood sponsors (keep it clean) Stickers or decals (No drawn on)

                                                            look like a NASCAR

Tires:           Front Wheels: Parma, JK or Protrack single o-ring ½” or 5/8” diameter only

                     Rear:  any black foam or rubber

Axles:          front axle 1/16” , rear axle 1/8” both must be solid steel

Gears:        9 tooth brass pinion and any Parma or JK plastic 48 pitch spur gear only

Nascar A

Runs on high power All 8 lanes, European rotation

 You must get over /about 160 laps four times in Nascar B to  move up to Nascar A

                     you may NOT interchange parts, Cut, grind or bend chassis from original shape.

Bodies:        JK, Dodge JKB36B, Toyota JKB37B, Chevy JKB38B, or Ford JKB39B, painted or clear

                    (you can paint your own) must use body clips
